Welcome to ISSB’s new fully revised and upgraded Trade Enquiry System (TES) that offers full access to our online database of steel and related materials trade data. Our database consists of monthly import and export data for over 80 countries split by tariff code covering hundreds of products. We have both volumes, as measured in tonnes, and values which are CIF prices for imports and FOB prices for exports and can be measured in GBP, USD or EUR.

An annual subscription to the TES enables you full access to our world leading database, from the minute data is added to the system. In addition to being able to download the data in Microsoft Excel for further analysis, users now have the option to include the data in graphs and charts to see any changes in trends.

As well as the above trade data split by 6-digit HS codes, we are now delighted to be able to offer, for most countries, an additional service of further granularity with a split into 8, 10 or even 11 digit tariff codes where available. As far as products are concerned, traditionally we have been able to offer trade in steel for chapters 72 and selected product in chapter 73. We are now able to offer a full range of chapter product; all ores from chapter 26, selected products from chapter 27 such as coal and coke, non-ferrous metals and various other products partially made from steel such as automobiles and some machinery.

Finally, for the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea and Taiwan we are able to offer port data.
